Hi. I'm Noel Patterson, and I'm the creator of Dos Manos Apiaries. I was born and raised right here in Tucson. For over 20 years, I've been managing hives across the Sonoran Desert landscape I've known my whole life, learning to listen to the bees and respecting what they give us. My approach has always been natural and integrated—no shortcuts, just honest beekeeping that produces the kind of raw honey I'm proud to share.

I spent more than 30 years in the premium wine, food, and beverage world as a sommelier and educator, and I still work in that industry today. What I learned about terroir, quality, and craft in wine has deeply shaped how I understand and taste honey. The same principles apply—the landscape, the season, the care that goes into production—it all matters. For over a decade, I've worked with Miraval Arizona, the Forbes Five-Star resort, managing their hives and leading beekeeping education programs.
